The NJAA promotes environmentally responsible and sustainable aquaculture production. Our community of "growers" and allied members work together to foster a better and stronger industry through advocacy, education, and collaboration.
We are passionate about our work and we love sharing our stories and products. Educating consumers, policy makers, and youth about aquaculture and its potential to drive economic growth, habitat restoration, and food security is central to our mission.
Aquaculture of aquatic plants and animals can provide important environmental benefits. NJAA members are committed to working with environmental organizations, State resource agencies, and scientist to restore habitats.
